Geistlich Fibro-Gide® is a porcine, porous, resorbable and volume-stable collagen matrix, specifically designed for soft-tissue regeneration. The collagen matrix is made of reconstituted collagen and undergoes smart chemically cross-linking to improve its volume stability while maintaining a good biocompatibility. The porous network of Geistlich Fibro-Gide® supports angiogenesis, formation of new connective tissue and stability of the collagen network in submerged healing. In vivo animal models have shown good integration of Geistlich Fibro-Gide® into the surrounding soft-tissue while maintaining stability.

Geistlich Bio-Gide® Shape is a pre-cut resorbable collagen membrane designed for the treatment of non-intact extraction sockets. Geistlich Bio-Gide® Shape possesses the same qualities as our leading collagen membrane for oral tissue regeneration Geistlich Bio-Gide®.

Geistlich Bio-Gide® Shape should always be used with a bone graft substitute, such as Geistlich Bio-Oss® or Geistlich Bio-Oss® Collagen. Geistlich Bio-Gide® Shape is simple to handle and provides ease of application:

• Ready to use
• Apply the membrane dry with the rough side facing the defect
• Moisten in situ, membrane will adhere well

Warnings:

• As Geistlich Bio-Gide®, Geistlich Bio-Gide® Compressed and Geistlich Bio-Gide® Shape are collagen products, allergic reactions may not be totally excluded. Possible complications which may occur with any surgery include swelling at the surgical site, flap sloughing, bleeding dehiscence, hematoma, increased sensitivity and pain, bone loss, redness and local inflammation.

Geistlich Bio-Oss® is a sterile, biocompatible porous bone mineral substitute, which is physically and chemically comparable to the mineralized matrix of human bone. It is available in spongiosa (cancellous granules) and in blocks.
